Terms of service
Last updated 23 August 2026
Who we are
VoiceConnect provides business telephone services in Ghana. These terms cover your use of the service.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens on your account, including calls placed and the numbers you add. Keep your password and API keys private.
Paying for calls
The service is prepaid. You top up a balance and calls are charged against it. When your balance reaches zero your line stops answering, so keep it topped up.
Rates are shown in your dashboard. We will tell you before they change.
Fair use
You may not use the service for unsolicited marketing calls, for automated dialling of people who have not asked to hear from you, or to present a caller ID you do not control. We enforce quiet hours on outbound calls.
We may suspend an account immediately on credible reports of abuse, and investigate afterwards.
Recording calls
If you turn on recording, you are responsible for having a lawful basis under Ghana's Data Protection Act. We announce recording to callers before it starts, and you cannot switch that announcement off.
Availability
We depend on telecommunications networks we do not control. We do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for business losses arising from calls that do not connect.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time. Unused balance is not refundable after ninety days. We will give you thirty days' notice before ending service except in cases of abuse or non-payment.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
